Senior Systems & Network Engineer

Our Senior Systems & Network Engineer is responsible designing, scoping, and planning complex IT Infrastructure upgrade/migration technology projects for our diverse client base. This position requires a high level of technical skill in both Microsoft Server technologies along with significant networking and security abilities. In addition, amazing Customer Service skills, a well-rounded technical background, strong business intuition, excellent communication skills, and the ability to communicate professionally at all levels of a corporate structure are all required to succeed in this challenging and rewarding position.

The Senior Systems & Network Engineer MUST

• Be Positive and provide amazing customer service to our clients and staff

• Communicate effectively utilizing various mediums including phone, email, and a service ticketing system.
• Effectively document client IT environments, applications, and resolution steps in our document management system
• Collaborate with other team members to resolve IT issues and escalate matters when needed
• Pay attention to detail and complete task per defined process
• Design, scope, plan, and execute complex technology projects in a professional and timely manner
• Ensure all Service Level Agreement Targets are met
• On a rotation basis provide afterhours Customer Support.
• Travel to client sites to provide IT service if needed/assigned
• Learn our company way of delivering world class service to ensure alignment with our team, including: our technologies, processes, and metrics for success

QUALIFICATIONS

• The successful candidate must possess a minimum of 5 years of full-time hands-on experience managing business class network infrastructure and LAN/WAN technologies.
• One or more technical certifications (MCSA, MCSE, CEH, NSE, VCP, CWNA, RCNA)

Technical Experience:

• Experience managing/troubleshooting Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019
• Proficient with Azure & Server Active Directory Administration and Group Policy Management
• Proficient with PowerShell scripting
• Proficient LAN/ WAN Network Connectivity Troubleshooting Experience
• Proficient managing and configuring Hyper V
• Proficient configuring/troubleshooting Firewalls
• Proficient configuring/troubleshooting Network Switches including VLANs
• Experience with Backup/ Disaster Recovery Devices
• Experience Configuring/ Troubleshooting NAS devices
• Experience with Remote Management Tools

Experience With:

• HP Servers is a plus
• Microsoft Azure deployment, migration and administration is a plus
• Office 365 deployment, migration and administration is a plus
• Fortigate firewalls is a plus
• Ruckus switches and access points are a plus
